International Conference on Science and Humaniora (ICE-ScienceHUM)

A remarkable event has occurred!

The International Conference on Science and Humaniora (ICE-ScienceHUM) was held successfully on 15 November 2023. Organized by Universitas Kristen Maranatha and Research Synergy Foundation (RSF), this conference was held virtually through the online platform. The ICE-ScienceHUM brought the theme of “Comprehending Technology Innovation, Humaniora, and Social Science in Collaborative Perspectives” with 10 tracks of interdisciplinary field of studies presented by 48 participants. This conference aimed to strengthen the interdisciplinary research from basic to share their thought and findings in various spectrum of Culture, Business, Humanities, Political science, Civil engineering, Management, Arts, Design, Accounting, and Information technology.

The conference has successfully gathered speakers, participants, scientific reviewer, session chair, and attendees from more than 15+ countries, such as Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, USA, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Qatar, Pakistan, Morocco, Nigeria, India, Egypt, Ukraine, Yemen, and many more.

A Successful Virtual Conference

The ICE-ScienceHUM was arranged virtually through the ZOOM platform.
The opening consisted of the safety induction delivered, playing the song Indonesia Raya and Opening Prayer.
The welcoming remark was delivered Dr. Meythi, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA. as the conference chair of the ICE-ScienceHUM.

 

After that, the conference welcomed the co-conference chair and chairperson of the Research Synergy Foundation, Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih. She introduced the Global Research Ecosystem by Research Synergy Foundation, which supported the scientific process and publication of ICE-ScienceHUM. Thus making the conference more reputable and internationalized.

Keynote Speaker Session

The International Conference on Science and Humaniora (ICE-ScienceHUM) invited 2 Keynote Speakers coming from various Indonesia and USA. They are Prof. Ir. Sri Widiyantoro, M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU, the Rector of Universitas Kristen Maranatha, represented by Dr. Se Tin, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA as the Vice Rector of Academic and Research, Universitas Kristen Maranatha and Professor Ian O. Williamson, Dean of Paul Merage School of Business, University of California, Irvine, United States

 

Keynote Speaker 1 

The first keynote speaker was Prof. Ir. Sri Widiyantoro, M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU, who is the Rector of Universitas Kristen Maranatha. In this occasion, he was represented by Dr. Se Tin, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA as the Vice Rector of Academic and Research, Universitas Kristen Maranatha

Keynote Speaker 2 

Next, the keynote speaker was Professor Ian O. Williamson, Dean of Paul Merage School of Business, University of California, Irvine, United States

 

Online Academic Presentation Session

The online academic presentation session of the ICE-ScienceHUM was divided into 5 Breakout Rooms. The Session Chairs for the online academic presentation session came from various countries and affiliations:

In this session, the discussion went smoothly and the questions came from the virtual participants. After all the presenter finished with their presentation, all the presenters and attendees were directed to go to the main room for online and the auditorium for the onsite participants a short break in the Main Room to wait for the Best Presenter,  Best Paper announcement, Session Chair Recognition, and Closing Speech.

Awarding Session

After all the participants were back on the main room and the auditorium, there was a short break as a preparation for the awarding session and the closing ceremony. Then, the MC announced the Best Presentation , Best Student Achievement and the Best Paper awards. There were 5 Best Presentation and  2 Best Paper awardees.

The Best Presentation category was nominated based on the professionalism, the organization of the presentation, the visual of the presentation, and the handling of the questions, based on the evaluation given by the Session Chairs throughout the presentation.
