The Abstract Book of The International Halal Science and Technology Conference 2025 (IHSATEC): 18th Halal Science Industry and Business (HASIB) is the scientific output of a hybrid conference held on 18–19 December 2025 at Al Meroz Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, and virtually via Zoom and YouTube.
This conference was organized by The Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) and Research Synergy Foundation. IHSATEC 2025: 18th HASIB carried the theme “Green Halal: Beyond Sustainability” and featured presentations from 36 presenters.
The conference aimed to provide a forum for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to exchange and share ideas and research findings across various spectrums of Halal Science and Technology, particularly in the areas of industry and business. The program brought together speakers, participants, scientific reviewers, session chairs, and attendees from more than 20 countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Japan, the United Kingdom, India, the Philippines, Switzerland, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, France, Brunei Darussalam, Trinidad and Tobago, and Hong Kong, among others.
This Abstract Book compiles the scholarly contributions presented at IHSATEC 2025: 18th HASIB and reflects current discussions and ongoing research in halal science and technology, supporting knowledge sharing and collaboration within the field.
