FAQ – Submission Type Guideline

The conferences supported by Research Synergy System and organized by Research Synergy Foundation has two submission types in general:

Abstract Submission

1. Parts of abstract: Title, Background, Purpose, Design/methodology/approach, Findings, Research limitations, Originality/value, and Keyword.
2. Word count: No more than 350 words for the body of the abstract. The system will not allow the registrant to continue if it exceeded the word count limit. 
3. Full Paper word count:  5,000 - 7,000 words including the Abstract and References.
4. Full Paper deadline: Can be submitted after payment up to D+7 after the conference day.

Conference Paper Submission

1. Parts of Conference Paper: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Research Methodology, Finding and Discussion, Conclusion and Future Research, and References..
2. Word count: between 2,000 - 3,500 words including embedded figures and tables, contain no appendix
3.  Submission format: Microsoft Office (.doc/.docx) file.
4. Paper and spacing format: Paper should be prepared in A4 paper (21cm x 29.7cm) using 2.5 cm for inside margin and 2 cm for top, bottom, and outside margin. No need to alter page number in this template as the page number will be reordered at pre-printing process.
5. The title, abstract and main text should be in one column. Title should be less than 15 words, title case, small caps, centered, bold, font type Times New Roman (TNR), font size 16, and single spaced. The main text of the writing should be in one columns with 1 cm column spacing, justified, 12 TNR, first line indent 5 mm, and 1.5 spaced.

7. Full Paper word count:  5,000 - 7,000 words including the Abstract and References. Author(s) should also make paraphrases to at least 80% of the parts of the paper so that it is not detected as "self-plagiarism" by the Plagiarism Check engine.
8. Full Paper deadline: Can be submitted after payment up to D+14 after the conference day.

Notes:

Each of the submission whether it is Abstract, Conference Paper, and its revisions will be put through a Plagiarism Check engine (Turnitin) each time and shall receive 20% or less on the score. A revision needs to be made if the submission does not pass the Plagiarism Check score threshold.
