International Respati Health Conference (IRHC) 2023

A remarkable event has occurred!

The International Respati Health Conference (IRHC)  was an outstanding event held on March 16-17, 2023. This International Conference is a collaboration between Universitas Respati Yogyakarta (UNRIYO) and Research Synergy Foundation (RSF), co-hosted by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Respati and Universitas Respati Indonesia. This conference was held on virtual platform and has given a chance to increase knowledge among researchers found ideas for further research, and new found research and collaboration opportunities.

This event was held in two days and the virtual conference has been a great success. Participants and audiences who attended came from various countries, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Italy, Thailand, Philippines, India, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Libya and Ethiopia.

All researchers, scholars, and colleagues participated in the discussions and exchanged ideas at the scientific conference. This year, the conference brought up the theme of “Sustainable Health Care and Disaster Management” and aimed strengthen multidisciplinary research from basic for share their thought and findings in various spectrum of Health Sciences, Public Health, Nursing, Science of Nutrition, Microbiology, and other related field of studies. This international conference was divided into two days and three session, with each session consist of 4 to 5 presenters.

In this conference, we discuss and shares research topic surrounding

Health Sciences, Health Technology, Mother and Child Health, Elderly Health, Physiotheraphy, Mental Health, Public Health, Nursing, Science of Nutrition, Pharmacy, Sustainable Environment, Green Accounting, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Pharmacy.

Day-1 (March 16, 2023)

The opening ceremony on Day 1 of  IRHC 2023 was opened by welcoming remarks by  Dr. Fery Lusviana Widiany, S.Gz., MPH., RD.,  as  Conference Chair of IRHC. Then, an opening speech was delivered by Dr. Fransiska Lanni, MS., the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Universitas Respati Yogyakarta.

Then, the conference continued by an introduction to the Global Research Ecosystem Introduction by Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih as the Co-Conference Chair of IRHC and the Founder & Chairperson of Research Synergy Foundation.

This year, the conference consisted of of  presenters and more than 570 attendees from 14 countries. 

Keynote Speaker Session – Day 1,

The next session was the Keynote Speaker session from Prof. Ts. Dr. Ming Tatt LEE from Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UCSI University, Malaysia. The topic of the presentation was about  “Stress-induced analgesia (SIA)”.

Invited Speaker Session – Day 1,

The next session was the Invited Speaker session from dr. Ari Waluyo, Sp.OG(K), MARS from Universitas Respati Indonesia (URINDO), Indonesia. The topic of the presentation was about  “Management of Lactation During Disaster”.

Invited Speaker Session

The next session was the Invited Speaker session from Isyeu Sriagustini, SKM., MKM. from STIKes Respati Tasikmalaya, Indonesia. The topic of presentation was about  “Implementation of Fire Management in The Workplaces”.

Keynote Speaker Session

The next session was the Keynote Speaker session from Prof. Eef Hogervorst from School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences, Loughborough University, United Kingdom. Active Aging Consortium in Asia Pacific – ACAP. The topic of the presentation was about  “Crisis and Covid-19”.

Online Academic Presentation Session – Day 1

After the Keynote Speaker Session and the token of appreciation, the conference then continued by an Online Academic Presentation Session. With tracks Public Health and Science of Nutrition, for the first day on this session, the Session Chairs were:

  • Assistant Professor Ts. Dr. Tan Chung Keat from UCSI University, Malaysia
  • Dr. Silvia Catalan Ambag from Asia Pacific Consortium of Researchers and Educators, The Philippines

In this session, the discussion went smoothly on all  the presenters attended and the questions came from virtual attendees. After all the presenter finished with their presentation, all the presenters and attendees take a short break in the Main Room for waiting the Best Presenter announcement and Closing Remarks.

Day-2 (March 17, 2023)

On the second day of the IRHC, the first agenda of the day is the Welcome Remarks by Professor Tri Budi W. Rahardjo as the Rector of Universitas Respati Indonesia (URINDO). After that the MC led the conference for the next session, which was the Invited Speaker Session.

Invited Speaker Session – Day 2

In the first session of Day 2, the Invited Speaker was dr. M. Hardhantyo, MPH., Ph.D., FRSPH from Universitas Respati Yogyakarta (UNRIYO) with topic of his presentation “Design of the Public Health Emergency Operation Center (PHEOC) in Indonesia. After the token of appreciation the conference continue to announcement of online academic presentation day 2 session 1.

Online Academic Presentation Session 1 – Day 2,

After the Invited Speaker Session and the token of appreciation, the conference then continued by an Online Academic Presentation Session. With Track Nursing, For the second day on this session, the Session Chairs were:

  • Assistant Professor Ts. Dr. Eugenie Tan Sin Sing from UCSI University, Malaysia
  • Prof. Shiela Bartolome Navasca, PTRP, MSPT from Northwestern University, The Philippines

In this session, the discussion went smoothly on all  the presenters attended and the questions came from virtual attendees. After all the presenter finished with their presentation, all the presenters and attendees take a break in the Main Room for waiting the Keynote Speaker Session and Online Presentation Session.

The next session was the Keynote Speaker session from Mr. David Leonard Blow, Founder/President of the Neuromuscular Taping Institute, Rome, Italy. The topic of the presentation was about  “Neuromuscular Taping and Acudetox as Viable Treatment Options for Managing Collective Social Disaster Recovery and Sustainable Health Care”.

Online Academic Presentation Session 2 – Day 2

After the Keynote Speaker Session and the token of appreciation, the conference then continued by an Online Academic Presentation Session. With tracks Microbiology, Health Technology, Elderly Health and Health Sciences. For the second day on the 2nd session, the Session Chairs were:

  • Mrs. Diar Herawati, M.Si., Apt. from Universitas Islam Bandung, Indonesia
  • Mr. Angelito P. Bautista Jr. from Quezon City University, The Philippines

In this session, the discussion went smoothly on some of the presenters attended and the questions came from virtual attendees. After all the presenter finished with their presentation, all the presenters and attendees take a short break in the Main Room for waiting the Best Presenter, Best Paper announcement and Closing Speech.

At the end of second day, closing speech was delivered by Nazwar Hamdani Rahil, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep. as the Chief of Research Center and Community Service (PPPM) at Universitas Respati Yogyakarta.

IRHC 2023 conference was held successfully in two days.

With this international conference, it is hoped that all participants will gain valuable knowledge, and collaboration will be formed to continue research so that it is more developed. The committee and participants look forward for the next IRHC with further collaboration and interesting topics.
