The 2024 International Conference of UNAIR Postgraduate School (ICPS 2024)
A remarkable event has occurred!
The 2024 International Conference of UNAIR Postgraduate School (ICPS 2024) was held successfully on 11 September 2024. Organized by Postgraduate School Universitas Airlangga and Research Synergy Foundation (RSF), this conference was held in hybrid, live from the building of Postgraduate School, Campus-B and virtually through the online platform. The ICPS 2024 brought the theme of “Transformation towards The 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda: Multidisciplinary Approaches” with 16 tracks of multidisciplinary field of studies presented by 48 participants. This conference aimed to strengthen the interdisciplinary research from basic to share their thought and findings in various spectrum of Human Resource Management, Immunology, Law, Disaster Management, Forensics, Police Science, Creative Industry, Data Analytic, Women Empowerment, Health Economics, Venture Creation, Population Administration, Sustainable Development, Entrepreneurship, Management Science, and Social Science.
The conference has successfully gathered speakers, participants, scientific reviewer, session chair, and attendees from more than 15 countries around the globe, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Australia, Pakistan, China, Oman, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Taiwan, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Cambodia, Morocco, and many more.
A Seamless Hybrid Conference
The ICPS 2024 was arranged seamlessly between the onsite and online participants. The opening started live from the building of Postgraduate School, Campus-B, while the virtual participants joined through the online platform Zoom.
The day started with welcoming registration for participants at Gedung ASEEC Campus B UNAIR but half of them were join at Zoom that started at 9 AM, followed up with welcoming address for the participant that MC had announced. Indonesia Raya Anthem and Hymne of UNAIR also played as the opening of the events. Then the greeting speech was delivered by Prof. Badri Munir Sukoco, S.E., M.B.A., Ph.D., as the Director of The Post Graduate School Universitas Airlangga.

Afterward, the Vice Rector for Resources of Universitas Airlangga, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Madyan, SE., M.Si., M.Fin., delivered an opening speech for the ICPS 2024. Followed by the conference group photo for onsite and virtual shortly afterwards as soon as Mr. Vice Rector for Resources of UNAIR finished his speech.

An Astonishing Invited Keynote Speaker Session
Moving on to the first Invited Keynote Speaker, Dr (Cand). H. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, M.Sc., M.PA., M.A as the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/ Head of the National Land Agency caught the attention from each one of the individuals in the room and virtually over his magnificent topic that he brought to the stage.

After that, Dr. Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti S.T., M.SI., M.Eng., Ph.D. as the Acting Chief Statistician of BPS Statistics Indonesia – Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs Ministry of National Development Planning/ Bappenas also participated as the third Invited Keynote Speaker and delivered her marvelous topic for this conference virtually.

Token of appreciation is also given to all of the Invited Keynote Speakers to appreciate their initiative to share their thoughts and knowledge that would make a huge impact ahead.

After all the Invited Keynote Speakers have delivered their speech, it was time for the next agenda. The ICPS 2024 was supported by the Global Research Ecosystem by Research Synergy Foundation, ensuring all the scientific review process was held inline with the value of impactful academic research.
To explain about this, the conference welcomed the co-conference chair and chairperson of the Research Synergy Foundation, Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih. She introduced the Global Research Ecosystem by Research Synergy Foundation, which supported the scientific process and publication of ICPS 2024. Thus making the conference more reputable and internationalized through Research Synergy Foundations’ global network.

A Plenary Keynote Speaker Session
The International of UNAIR Postgraduate School 2024 (ICPS 2024) invited 6 Keynote Speakers coming from various country. The keynote speaker session was held in a plenary setting, moderated by Dr. Aditya Prana Iswara, M.Sc., Ph.D. from Universitas Airlangga. The conference invited all onsite participants to hear and listen from the notable Keynote Speakers.
The first keynote speaker was Prof. Iman Harymawan, SE., MBA., Ph.D., from Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia. He attend the conference onsite brought his impactful and excellent speech regarding “Managing Sustainable City”.

At the concuRrent time, the Breakout Rooms have already started. The participants were divided into 6 Breakout Rooms, in which 1 room is onsite at Campus B of The Postgraduate School Universitas Airlangga, and 5 virtual Breakout Room via Zoom platform. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ana Penteado from The University of Notre Dame, Australia continued the session to deliver her interesting topic about connections and flags over her paper regarding ocean and the acidification and warmth of oceans in the Atlantic Ocean, Pasific Ocean, and in The Southeast Area.

For the final keynote speaker, the conference invited Prof. Gadaf Rexhepi delivered virtually his speech from South East European University in North Macedonia. He shared his knowledge with a wonderful discussion related with “Enhancing Business Sustainablity Through Green Innovation Supply Chain Practices and GIC (Green Intellectual Capital and Emphyrical Evidences from the Manufacturing Sector” With a full heart that brought the conference to the end of Keynote Speaker speeches session.

In this session, the facinating discussion went smoothly and the questions came assertively from both onsite and virtual participants. After all the presenter finished with their presentation, all the presenters and attendees were directed to go to the main room for online and went to the auditorium for the onsite participants for a short break to wait decision for the Best Presenter, Best Paper announcement, Session Chair Recognition, and Closing Speech.
Awarding Session
After all the participants were back on the main room and the auditorium, there was a short break as a preparation for the awarding session and the closing ceremony. Then, the MC announced the Best Presentation and the Best Paper awards. There were 6 Best Presentation awardees and 2 Best Paper awardees.
The Best Presentation category was nominated based on the professionalism, the organization of the presentation, the visual of the presentation, and the handling of the questions, based on the evaluation given by the Session Chairs throughout the presentation.
