8th International Conference on Management Studies and Social Sciences (8th MASOS)

A remarkable event has occurred!
The 8th International Conference on Management Studies and Social Sciences (8th MASOS) was an outstanding event held on July 31, 2023. This international conference was organized by Research Synergy Foundation (RSF). The 8th MASOS was held on virtual platform and has given a chance to increase knowledge among researchers found ideas for further research, and new found research and collaboration opportunities.

This event was held in one day and the virtual conference has been a great success. Participants and audiences who attended came from various countries, such as Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Morocco, Canada, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, Sierra Leonne, Nigeria, Taiwan, Nepal, Vietnam, Haiti, Iran, and more.
All researchers, scholars, and colleagues participated in the discussions and exchanged ideas at the scientific conference. This conference theme is to This year, the conference aimed to strengthen research in the fields of management studies and social sciences.

In this conference, we discuss and shares research topic surrounding Business Administration, Green Economics, Marketing, International Business Management, Human Resources, and Marketing.

The opening ceremony of 8th MASOS was delivered by welcoming remarks by Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih as Conference Chair of 8th MASOS. Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih also given an introduction to Research Synergy Global Network which has been a successful platform for researchers to share their ideas through international conferences, contribute to the research ecosystem by being a reviewer, session chair, or a speaker.

Keynote Speaker Session

One of the special agenda in the 8th International Conference on Management Studies and Social Studies (8th MASOS) is the Keynote Speaker Session. The conference invited two keynote speakers and they are:

1. Dr. Yeo Sook Fern, the Deputy Dean for Research & Industrial Collaborations Multimedia University, Malaysia
Topic: Unleashing the Power of AI: Decoding Instagrammers’ Purchase Decisions in the Digitalization Era

2. Dr. Marilyn F. Isip, the Campus Director PUP Sta. Maria Bulacan Campus, The Polytechnic University of the Philippines
Topic: Becoming a Leader in a Resilient Society

The first Keynote Speaker is Dr. Yeo Sook Fern, the Deputy Dean for Research & Industrial Collaborations Multimedia University, Malaysia. With the topic of Unleashing the Power of AI: Decoding Instagrammers’ Purchase Decisions in the Digitalization Era, Dr. Yeo Sook Fern delivered an interesting and engaging speech to the participants. There were plenty questions coming from the participants and Dr. Yeo Sook Fern managed to answer all the questions.

Token of appreciation was given by Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih as the Conference Chair of 8th MASOS as a recognition to the Keynote Speaker.

After that, it was time for Dr. Marilyn F. Isip, the Campus Director PUP Sta. Maria Bulacan Campus, The Polytechnic University of the Philippines to deliver her speech as the Keynote Speaker. Her topic of speech was Becoming a Leader in a Resilient Society. Her research-based insights on leadership has triggered questions and discussion from the participants.

Once again, Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih was present to give the token of presentation to the Keynote Speaker.
After all the Keynote Speaker delivered their speech, it was time for the lunch break. The academic online session will be started after the lunch break.

Welcoming back the participants to 8th MASOS after lunch break, the conference then continued by the Online Academic Presentation Session. The session was divided into two breakout rooms.
In breakout room 1, the tracks were Business Administration, Green Economics, and Marketing, and the Session Chairs were:

In breakout room 2, the tracks were International Business Management, Human Resources, and Marketing and the Session Chairs were:

In this session, the discussion went smoothly on all the presenters attended and the questions came from virtual attendees. After each of the presentation, there was a Q&A to discuss the research and disseminate the relating topics.
After the discussion session, the conference then continued by feedback session and the distribution of certificates for the presenters.

The Session Chairs gave each of the presenters their certificate as a remark of appreciation and involvement on the international conference.

After all the certificates were distributed, the participants then went back to the Main Room for the Awarding and Closing Ceremony.
In the Main Room, the presenters were ready for the announcement of the Best Presentation, Best Paper, and Session Chair Recognition.
The first awarding session is the BEST PRESENTATION AWARD.
The Session Chairs had selected the Best Presentation based on several criterions in the assessment form.
In the 8th International Conference on Management Studies and Social Sciences (8th MASOS), there were two Best Presentation awards.

Moving on to the 2nd award category is for the BEST PAPER AWARD
The Conference Scientific Review Committee already selects the BEST Paper during the submission and review process. The criteria for determining the best paper are:

1. Submitting the Full Paper with the time,
2. No notes in ethical consideration: Pass the plagiarism checking, citation appropriateness
3. No Revision (Accepted) or only having Minor Revision in the previous review during submission
4. Format/ template alignment,
5. novelty of the content,
6. academic, practical, and societal contribution or the impact

The last awarding session is the Session Chair Recognition. Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih as the Conference Chair of 8th MASOS congratulate and appreciate each of the Session Chair for their great contribution in this international conference.

With this international conference, it is hoped that all participants will gain valuable knowledge, and collaboration will be formed to continue research so that it is more developed. The committee and participants look forward for the next 8th MASOS with further collaboration and interesting topics.
