A Successful Virtual Academic Gathering Has Concluded!
The 10th International Conference on Interdisciplinary Business, Economy, Management, and Social Studies (10th IBEMS) was successfully held on September 9, 2026. Conducted entirely virtually via Zoom, the conference was organized by the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, alongside the Research Synergy Foundation, and co-hosted by UEH University. The event brought together global scholars, researchers, and practitioners to exchange interdisciplinary scientific research across business, economy, management, and social studies.

Opening Ceremony and Global Research Introduction
The event commenced with participant login and a welcoming address, expertly guided by the event moderator, Santi Rahmawati, S.T., M.S.M., Founder & Chief of Operating Officer (COO) of Research Synergy Foundation and F1000research Gateway Advisor.

The first formal address was delivered by Dr. Yetty Dwi Lestari, S.E., M.T., Conference Chair of the 10th IBEMS and Head of the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga.

This was immediately followed by the Opening Speech on behalf of Prof. Dr. Rudi Purwono, S.E., M.SE., Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, which was represented and delivered by Novrys Suhardianto SE., MSA., Ak., Ph.D., Vice Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga.

The program then transitioned to a Global Research Ecosystem Introduction presented by Associate Professor Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih, S.E., M.M., Co-Conference Chair of the 10th IBEMS and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Research Synergy Foundation. An e-group photo captured the international assembly of attendees to conclude the opening session.
Keynote Sessions & Mini Workshop The morning featured foundational academic insights from four distinguished keynote speakers. The virtual assembly first engaged with keynote addresses delivered

by Prof. Ari Warokka, Ph.D., from Busan International College, Tongmyong University (TU), Republic of Korea, and Dr. Truong Nu To Giang from the School of Management, College of Business, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), Vietnam.

The session continued with profound insights from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lau Teck Chai from XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang), Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), China, and

Prof. Lennora Putit from the Department for Entrepreneurship and Marketing Studies (DEMS), Faculty of Business & Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

Additionally, attendees participated in a highly valuable mini-workshop titled "Utilising Trinka AI for the Research Desk." This session was led by Shawn Navis, Product Manager and Business Partner at Enago, providing practical academic tools for the participants.
Academic Parallel Presentations Following a lunch break featuring institutional profile videos of Universitas Airlangga, Research Synergy Foundation, and UEH University, the academic online presentations began.

The sessions were conducted across the Main Room and five Breakout Rooms, expertly guided by Session Chairs: Dr. Pong Kok Shiong (Beijing Normal University, Hong Kong Baptist University United International College, China), Prof. Dr. Lennora Putit (Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Tan Luc (University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam), Dr. Truong Thi Hoang Oanh (University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam), Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung (University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam), and Katerina Katsamba (University of Limassol, Cyprus).

Research presentations in this session covered critical tracks including Management, Business, Economics, Human Resources Management, Sustainability, Behavioral Science, Humanities, Tourism and Hospitality, and Computer Science.
Awarding and Closing Ceremony The conference officially wrapped up with a final Awarding Ceremony recognizing outstanding academic contributions. The event was then brought to a close with concluding remarks delivered by Dr. Yetty Dwi Lestari, S.E., M.T., Conference Chair of the 10th IBEMS.
