The 4th International Conference on Community Research and Service Engagements (IC2RSE) by Research and Community Service Centre of Universitas Negeri Medan (LPPM UNIMED) and Research Synergy Foundation (RSF) held virtually on November 2-6, 2020.

The aim of this Conference is to bring together leading academician, researchers and scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of education, technology, innovation, social and community service.

The IC2RSE shows up as a education, technology, innovation, social and community service platform to gather presentations and discussions of recent achievements by leading researchers in academic research.

This conference was held in five days from November 2- November 6, 2020 and attended by 244 presenters and 130 registered attendees from 11 countries ie: Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Philipines, Bhutan, Morroco, Malaysia, Tanzania, Cambodia, Nepal and India.

Before the conference started, in the opening session, all participants was Listening to National Anthem “Indonesia Raya”

The first day of conference was opened by Dr. Diky Setya Diningrat as Conference Chair of IC2RSE

Dr. Syamsul Gultom, SKM., M. Kes. as Rector of Universitas Negeri Medan was welcoming the participants of the conference

Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih, SE., MM. as Founder & Chairman of Research Synergy Foundation to gave Global Research Ecosystem Introduction

IC2RSE invites the competent speakers to give the knowledgeable speech for participants who attend the conference.

The first keynote was Dr. Faizan Ali as Assistant Professor, Graduate Coordinator University of South Florida, Sarasota-Manatee USA

The second speaker was Philip Dooner as Associate Publisher, F1000 Research Ltd., UK.

The third speaker was Prof. Dr. Syawal Gultom, M.Pd. as Chairman of the Senate of Universitas Negeri Medan that represented by Dr. Diky Setya Diningrat as Conference Chair of IC2RSE

This session from the keynote was greeted positively by the participants. Question and answer sessions made the curiosity of the participants causing in interesting and fruitful discussions.
